Dr. Carolyn Jost Robinson received her PhD from Purdue in 2012, subsequently joining the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, NC, first as an assistant professor and promoted to Associate Professor in 2020. Dr. Robinson is a cofounder of Partners for Red Colobus and she currently serves as a Director of Sociocultural Research and Engagement at Chengeta Wildlife and works on integrating social science approaches and research to conservation management at several sites in Africa, including Dzanga Sangha Protected Areas in the Central African Republic and Korup National Park in Cameroon. She has an appointment as a Visiting Scholar at Purdue continues to collaborate with the Remis Research Group and publish research on primates, conservation and people in Central Africa.
