RRG graduates conduct research on orangutans at Indianapolis Zoo

K&AorangRecent graduates Kaitlyn Johnson (left) and Alex Pettigrew (right) actively engage with research efforts at the Simon Skjodt International Orangutan Center at the Indianapolis Zoo.

Alex designed and conducted a behavioral study on the orangutans at the center in Spring 2015.

Kaitlyn zooIn June 2015, Kaitlyn began an internship in cognition research at the Indianapolis Zoo. She assists with the cognitive tests administered to the orangutans at the center and collects behavioral data on the orangutans and other animals at the zoo.
